Description

Ship & Offshore Structure Company (formerly known as Kawasaki Shipbuilding Corporation) is a division of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd, which has two shipyards at Kobe and Sakaide in Japan, and has constructed and repaired all types of ships, using extensive experience of "a century of shipbuilding" and the newest technology.

 

 

Kawasaki has delivered various merchant ships such as bulk carriers, container ships and oil tankers as well as LNG and LPG carriers which have gained the high appraisal of the world thanks to its reliability and performance. In addition, since Kawasaki completed the first Japan-built submarine, the company has gained the position as a reliable submarine manufacturer.

 

 

In the field of marine development, Kawasaki has also developed and constructed the various research vessels and offshore structures. Concerning the sea transportation in the near future, Kawasaki challenges the infinite ocean through research and development of next generation energy carriers and environmentally-conscious design ships.
