Nammo has signed a contract with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration for delivery of small caliber ammunition worth SEK 670 million. Covering deliveries from 2020-22, the contract builds on a framework agreement signed in 2017, and will enable to Swedish Armed Forces to strengthen its levels of training and readiness.
 

When the jet engine was invented in the 1940s, it revolutionized aviation. Aircraft could fly faster, higher and became much more maneuverable. In a very short space of time, a whole class of military aircraft became obsolete. With its new ramjet motors, Nammo is confident it can do something similar for both missiles and artillery.

Nammo has been awarded a 19 million Euro development contract in the ESA VEGA-E program from Italy based AVIO to provide the next generation of Roll and Attitude Control System (RACS) for the European VEGA-E launcher. Once the RACS qualification program has been successfully completed the system is also a candidate for the VEGA-C and SPACE RIDER.
