The Euronaval exhibition 2018 is set to celebrate 50 years of naval innovation from the 23rd to 26th October 2018 in Paris-Le Bourget. Euronaval is an international exhibition for naval defence and maritime security and safety. With the support of Starburst it is launching a 200-sqm innovation area entirely devoted to innovative and future-oriented startup companies in the maritime and naval sectors. Euronaval is inviting startups to apply for a spot at the innovation area next October.

With this initiative, Euronaval wants to reach a wide audience of international start-up (Europe, Asia, America, Australia) that represent the diversity of the activities in the industry. The aim is to cover the entire naval defence domain, including vehicles of the future, predictive maintenance, communication, connectivity, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence for navies. Euronaval has entrusted the leadership and organisation of this project to Starburst, the world’s number one start-up accelerator in the aeronautics, space and defence sector.

Those startups from France and abroad selected from the application procedure will benefit from exceptional visibility. Euronaval is the benchmark exhibition in the sector, with more than 23,000 visits, 400 exhibitors and 129 official delegations from 64 countries. The start-up area will cover close to 200 sqm and will be set up next to the Ministry of Armed Forces and the GICAN stand (French Marine Industry Group). The area will also host conferences, round tables and pitches that will set the tempo for the four-day exhibition.

Created 50 years ago, Euronaval is the largest international exhibition of naval defence and maritime security and safety. Organised every two years in Paris-Le Bourget, this exhibition brings together decision makers from navies and the international naval industry. A prestigious showcase of innovation and technologies in the sector, Euronaval gives navy representatives from all over the world the opportunity to find out the naval materials of the future. Euronaval is a GICAN event – French Marine Industry Group - organised by its subsidiary SOGENA.
