The Future Armoured Vehicles CEE conference will return to Czech Republic on the 12^th and 13^th October 2020.

In the latest helicopter news, the US Government has approved two sales of UH-60M Black Hawk Helicopters to Croatia valued at $115m. ‘The helicopters will also support other missions such as search and rescue, medical evacuation, re-supply / external lift, and combat support.’*(Source: Airforce Technology). These assets will be a great improvement to Croatia’s troop lift, border security and counterterrorism capabilities, as well as supporting Croatia’s modernisation plans for its armed forces. This will also impact Helicopter Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul for Regional CEE Nations such as Austria, Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands and Slovenia.

SMi Group’s 6^th annual Future Armoured Vehicles Central and Eastern Europe will commence on the 18^th and 19^th May 2020. The two-day event will be held in Prague and delve into the enhancement and overhaul of their fleets of armoured vehicles with a specific focus on the Central and Eastern Europe.

On Wednesday (12 February), the Land Battle Decisive Munitions initiative welcomed two new members, the Czech Republic and Sweden, bringing the total number of participating NATO Allies and partners to twenty-three. The amendment to the initiative’s Memorandum of Understanding was signed in the margins of the NATO Defence Ministers’ Meeting in Brussels.
