Rostec is increasing its market share in Bulgaria

05/04/2017

In April Rostec's Shvabe holding delivered collimator and optical sights to the Republic of Bulgaria. Over 100 sights were delivered to the customer. Another delivery of the sights to Bulgaria is planned for May 2017.

Shvabe sights were supplied in accordance with the contract concluded in March 2016. Sights delivered in April included PV1.2-6x24L optical sights with changeable magnification, as well as open and closed collimators Р1х20, Р1х25 and Р1х30.

"The demand for our products on the arms market of Bulgaria is sustainably high. During the period of cooperation we have already supplied sights made by our enterprise, Vologda Optical and Mechanical Plant,  to the Bulgarian customer four times. In the long term, we plan to increase sales in this country by 10%," said Deputy CEO of Shvabe Ivan Ozhgikhin.

Р1х20, Р1х25 and P1х30 sights which represent a range of VOMZ collimator sights are designed for  aiming hunting weapons and weapons used for sports shooting accurately at various targets including those that move fast. These devices have a strong metal body and can be used in the temperatures ranging between -40°С and +50°С.

Р1х20 is the smallest collimator sight in the open colllimator sights family. Light weight (70 g) and a small lens (23 mm) allow using this device with small calibre guns.

The weight of Р1х30  is about 130 g, and its lens is larger than that of Р1х20 (19х25 mm). The sight has three types of aiming dots ("Dot", "T-shape" and "T-shape with a dot"), as well as a multi-level system for adjusting their brightness. Advantages of this open collimator sight also include short-term (up to 1 ms) impact resistance (with acceleration of up to 800 g).

Р1х25 is a closed collimator sight. Compared to open collimator sights, its optical part is better protected from precipitation, dirt and dust. It has a "Dot" aiming dot with a multi-level system for adjusting brightness. The sight is suitable for long guns of medium and high calibre.

PV1.2-6x24L can change magnification smoothly within the range of 1.2 to 6 times and allows selecting any intermediate value. The reticle has adjustable (nine levels of brightness) backlight and is located in the objective focal plane of the device; while magnification changes, its size does not. This sight is designed for searching for and tracing game, drive hunting (shooting distance is up to 100-150 m) or spot and stalk hunting, as well as for shooting at small targets.
