For use with 105mm US M68, UK L7, CN105F1and other Stanag 4458 compliant tank guns,to defeat massed infantry attack and to breakup infantry concentrations and personnelin dense foliage. This round is particularlyeffective in the anti-ambush role.

The M1204 CANISTER is a fixed round withthe projectile crimped into a brass cartridgecase. The projectile is loaded with steelspheres which are dispersed when the projectile exits the gun barrel. The cartridge case containsa propelling charge which is initiated by an electric M120 type primer.
