This cartridge is designed to be fired from the 25mm KBA, the M242 Bushmaster and the M811 gun systems, in order to defeat lightand medium armoured vehicles.
This cartridge is an Armour Piercing FinStabilized Discarding Sabot with Tracer (APFSDS-T) type. It consists of a subcalibre finstabilized tungsten alloy projectile launched bymeans of a lightweight sabot. The windshieldis designed to provide excellent penetration characteristics against high obliquity targets. The useof a specially designed single base propellant ensures good wear life characteristics.
