This cartridge is designed to be fired fromthe 25mm M242 Bushmaster gun system, forgunnery training.

This cartridge is a Training Practice withTracer (TP-T) type. It consists of an inertprojectile with a tracer mounted in therear. The projectile is mounted on a steelcartridge case which is filled with single basepropellant. The M936 round is ballisticallymatched to the US M793 TP-T and M792 HEI-T rounds. The M936 cartridge replaces the existingUS M793 TP-T cartridge.
