The 40/106 mm Round RTB-7MA with Thermobaric Grenade GTB-7MA is intended for combined destruction, both by air-blast and thermal emission:
- of the enemy manpower and euipment placed mainly in field type shelters, battle field fortifications, reinforced buildings, stone, brick or concrete fortifications , caves and in the open , as well as
- of light armoured and unarmoured vehicles
The Round consists of Thermobaric Grenade GTB-7MA and Propellant Charge CP-73 for Arsenal ATGL-L2 and the Russian RPG-7V Light Anti-Tank Grenade Launchers. The Grenade is completed with Sustainer motor SM-71 and Point Detonating Fuze AF76 with super quick and graze (anti-ricochet) function, independent of impact angle.
