Simmel Difesa has a long and in-depth experience in 40L70 ammunition design and production. The 40L70 ammunition is used worldwide and qualified in accordance with NATO standards for use with all types of 40L70 gun systems. The TP and TP-T are used to provide cost effective and live fire training of gun crews.

The rounds have the same characteristics of the HE and HE-T.  The projectiles, filled with an inertmaterial have the same ballistic of the HE rounds.  The TP-T projectile is fitted with a tracer.  The projectiles are assembled with a brass cartridge case which is filled with a multi-perforated propellant charge and fitted with a percussion primer.
