For use in the 76mm L5A1 (on Saladin) or L23/23A1 guns (on Scorpion light tanks) toprovide battlefield sound effects for training.It may also be used for saluting purposes.
The 76mm Blank cartridge uses a standardbrass cartridge case and primer. It is filledwith a charge which provides an audiblesound when ignited by the primer. The chargeis held in place using a closure plug.
